Who Is Responsible

Crobstacle Ventures L.L.C-FZ operates Crobsly and is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. Contact us at hello@crobsly.com.

What We Collect

We collect account details; learner profile information such as exam goals, country or region, language, level, and study preferences; practice answers and progress; writing submissions; speaking recordings; scores and review notes; communication and consent preferences; support messages; and basic device, browser, security, and service-usage data.

How We Use Data

We use data to create and secure accounts, deliver practice tests, save progress, score objective answers, support authorized review, personalize learning information, provide support, prevent abuse, maintain and improve the service, comply with legal obligations, and send reminders or product updates when you have opted in.

Why We Process Data

Depending on the context and applicable law, we process data to perform our agreement with you, with your consent, to comply with legal obligations, and for legitimate interests such as securing, supporting, and improving Crobsly. You may withdraw optional consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Recordings And Submissions

Speaking recordings and writing submissions may be reviewed by authorized Crobsly administrators and, where an account is connected to an institution, authorized institution staff. Recordings are submitted only after you acknowledge the Recording Consent Notice.

Service Providers And Institutions

We do not sell personal data. We use service providers for cloud hosting, authentication, databases, file storage, email delivery, security, and operational support. They process data on our behalf under their applicable agreements. Authorized institution staff may access learner information connected to their program or assignments.

International Processing

Our service providers and users may be located in different countries. Personal data may therefore be processed outside your country of residence. Where required, we use contractual and other safeguards intended to protect data during international transfers.

Retention

We retain account and practice data while your account is active and for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, maintain security, and meet legal obligations. Optional communications data is kept until you withdraw consent or it is no longer needed. Deleted data may remain temporarily in restricted backups until those backups expire.

Security

We use access controls, authentication, encrypted network connections, database security policies, and restricted administrative access. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please protect your password and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

Cookies And Local Storage

Crobsly uses essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, protect sessions, save necessary test state, and remember limited product state. We will update this policy and request consent where required before introducing non-essential advertising or analytics technologies.

Your Rights And Choices

Depending on your location, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of your personal data, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. You can update profile and communication preferences in your account and submit deletion requests through the data deletion page.

Children

Crobsly is not directed to children under 13. If we learn that we collected personal data from a child without legally required authorization, we will take steps to delete it. Schools and guardians are responsible for obtaining any authorization required for institution-managed learner access.

Policy Updates

We may update this policy as Crobsly, our providers, or legal requirements change. We will revise the date above and provide additional notice when required.
